Your chats stay on your device.

Effective September 17, 2026

Local AI processes conversations on your iPhone. We do not collect your chats or personal data.

Local data

Chats, settings, and downloaded models are stored in the app’s private storage. The app has no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.

Downloads

Downloading a model connects directly to its file host, currently Hugging Face. The host may receive standard connection information such as your IP address. Chat content is not included.

Deletion

You can delete chats and models in the app. Deleting Local AI removes its remaining local data.

Age

Local AI is intended for users aged 13 and older.
